Salivex

Description

Salivex is a sterile saline nasal spray containing 0.65% Sodium Chloride. It helps restore natural moisture to the nasal mucosa, loosens thick mucus, removes allergens and dust particles, and improves nasal breathing without causing rebound congestion.

Composition

Each mL contains:

• Sodium Chloride IP – 0.65% w/v
• Benzalkonium Chloride – 0.02% w/v (as preservative)

Indications

• Nasal congestion due to common cold
• Allergic rhinitis
• Sinusitis (adjunct therapy)
• Dry nasal passages
• Removal of dust, pollen, and pollutants
• Post-operative nasal care (as advised by physician)

Dosage

Adults:

• 1–2 sprays in each nostril, 2–4 times daily or as directed by the physician.

Children & Infants:

• 1 spray in each nostril as needed or as advised by the physician.

Administration

1. Wash hands before use.
2. Remove the protective cap.
3. Hold the bottle upright.
4. Tilt the head slightly forward.
5. Insert the nozzle gently into one nostril.
6. Press the pump while breathing in gently through the nose.
7. Repeat in the other nostril.
8. Wipe the nozzle clean and replace the cap after each use.
9. Do not share the spray with others to prevent contamination.
