- Fueling enterocytes and colonocytes, maintaining intestinal mucosal integrity
- Supporting glutathione synthesis to combat oxidative stress
CLINICAL HIGHLIGHT
A clinical study evaluated 0.5 mg/kg/day of L-Alanyl-L-Glutamine infusion for 10 days postoperatively in patients with suspected invasive fungal rhinosinusitis.
Results showed:
| Outcome Parameter | Treatment Group (n=7) | Control Group (n=7) | P-value |
| ICU Stay Length (mean ± SD) | 14 ± 3 days | 20 ± 3 days | 0.003* |
| Complication Rate (%) | 29% | 86% | 0.03* |
Significant clinical improvement in recovery and reduced ICU duration and complications.
